Meta Platforms on Tuesday raised the planned size of its largest-ever equity offerings to $97.5 billion to fund its AI infrastructure expansion, Reuters reported, while Nvidia said it will invest $3 billion in the offering as the two companies expand their partnership on Meta’s Muse assistant and models. At Oracle AI World in Las Vegas, Oracle and OpenAI announced a broader collaboration that brings Oracle applications and data into ChatGPT, and Oracle also said it will expand its Nvidia deal to multi-gigawatt scale with Vera Rubin servers and offer Google’s TPU chips for the first time. Separately, Google DeepMind announced Genie 4, a world model for real-time interactive simulation with native audio, which is rolling out to a limited group of trusted testers.
